Haiti regroup after Scotland defeat, eyes on Brazil test June 19

Three days after their 0-1 defeat to Scotland at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, the Haitian Grenadiers enter a critical rest-and-reset window before facing five-time world champions Brazil at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Friday, June 19 (8:30 p.m. ET, FOX).

The June 13 loss was decided by a single John McGinn goal in the 28th minute — a narrow margin that nonetheless left Haiti bottom of Group C with zero points after one match. Scotland lead the group on three points; Brazil and Morocco sit level on one point each after their 1-1 draw earlier that same matchday.

The performance, while ultimately a defeat, offered measured encouragement. Haiti's attack threatened repeatedly: Wilson Isidor fired shots in the 13th and 36th minutes, Ruben Providence tested Angus Gunn in the 34th, and Frantzdy Pierrot came close with a late header.
