Lenny Joseph draws Ligue 1 interest as Ferencváros forward eyes summer move

Lenny Joseph is the name circulating in French football this week. L'Équipe reports that the Ferencváros centre-forward is being closely monitored by Ligue 1 clubs after a standout 2025-26 campaign in which he registered 16 goals and 10 assists across all competitions — numbers that have made him impossible to ignore. The 25-year-old, contracted at Ferencváros until June 2027, has established himself as one of the most productive forwards in Hungarian football, and his market value sits at €2.00m on Transfermarkt. A move to France's top flight would represent a significant step up.

Elsewhere in the squad, Wilson Isidor's permanent transfer to Sunderland has now been formally confirmed, with the Championship club keeping him beyond his loan spell — a clean piece of business after he contributed a goal in Haiti's final World Cup fixture. Carlens Arcus has extended his contract at Angers SCO, with Yahoo Sports confirming the deal as the club simultaneously farewelled veterans Pierrick Capelle and Abdoulaye Bamba. Derrick Etienne Jr. has also signed a new deal at Toronto FC, per FOX Sports, after posting five goals and six assists across 55 appearances.

"16 goals and 10 assists across all competitions — numbers like that don't go unnoticed." — L'Équipe on Lenny Joseph's 2025-26 season at Ferencváros

Manno Sanon, the goal that silenced Italy

Haiti's only World Cup. Sanon beat Dino Zoff and ended 1,142 minutes of Italian invincibility — still the standard the Grenadiers chase.
