Isidor wants Sunderland exit; Arcus extends at Angers; Placide without club
Wilson Isidor is pushing to leave Sunderland this summer, according to the Sun. The 25-year-old Haitian international was a key figure in the Black Cats' Premier League promotion last season — 12 goals and 2 assists in 43 appearances — but has not started a league game since December and is seeking regular first-team football. Sunderland are not expected to block a move. With the Premier League season approaching, Isidor's situation is the most pressing club story among the Grenadiers today.
At Angers SCO, Carlens Arcus has officially extended his contract by one year, keeping the right-back at the club through June 2027. Having joined from Vitesse Arnhem in summer 2024, the 29-year-old was out of contract at season's end; Angers confirmed the renewal alongside the departures of veterans Pierrick Capelle and Abdoulaye Bamba.
Johny Placide is without a club as of 1 July 2026, per Transfermarkt. The 38-year-old captain's contract at SC Bastia expired, leaving Haiti's first-choice goalkeeper a free agent heading into pre-season.
Elsewhere, Dominique Simon's Sofascore profile now lists him at FK Pardubice rather than Tatran Prešov — a club change that falls outside the canonical squad list and is noted here for monitoring only.
