Lenny Joseph scores in Ferencváros Europa League win; Isidor seeks Sunderland exit

Lenny Joseph is the clear lead today. The Ferencváros forward started and scored in a 3-0 home win over Vojvodina on 16 July in the UEFA Europa League qualifying second leg, completing a 5-1 aggregate victory for the Hungarian club. He also appeared as a substitute in the first leg on 9 July (a 2-1 away win), logging two shots that game. Joseph's club form backs the story: after a 16-goal, 10-assist domestic season that drew Ligue 1 scouts, Ferencváros are now into the next qualifying round and Joseph is the focal point of their attack.

Elsewhere, Wilson Isidor's future at Sunderland is in serious doubt. The Sun reports he wants to leave this summer after being frozen out since December — despite 12 goals and two assists in 43 appearances last season as Sunderland earned Premier League promotion. The club is not expected to block a departure.

Two contract/status notes: Carlens Arcus has officially extended at Angers SCO through June 2027 (Yahoo Sports/Angers announcement), keeping the 29-year-old Haitian full-back in Ligue 2 for another season. And Johny Placide is now without a club after his Bastia contract expired on 1 July 2026, per Transfermarkt.
