Isidor transfer saga heats up; Nazon & Expérience still without clubs

Wilson Isidor leads today's brief as his transfer situation at Sunderland attracts Premier League attention. According to the Mirror (via Yahoo Sports), Everton have made an informal enquiry about the 25-year-old's availability, with manager David Moyes targeting striker reinforcements. Isidor remains under contract at the Stadium of Light and has been one of Sunderland's standout performers since their top-flight return, but the enquiry confirms he is on the radar of rival clubs this window.

Elsewhere, the free-agent situation continues to trouble the squad's depth. Duckens Nazon — Haiti's all-time leading scorer with 44 international goals — has been without a club since departing Esteghlal FC on 20 July, per Transfermarkt. Martin Expérience is similarly unattached, having left AS Nancy on 1 July.

Ricardo Adé provided a positive note: the LDU Quito centre-back started and picked up a yellow card in his side's 2-1 LigaPro win over Delfín on 3 August, their second straight league victory following a 1-0 win at Barcelona SC on 26 July (ESPN).

Woodensky Pierre's Violette AC face Defence Force FC in the CONCACAF Caribbean Cup today (5 August), per Sofascore — the sole Grenadier in action on home soil.

Lenny Joseph scored in Ferencváros's 3-0 Europa League qualifying win over Vojvodina on 16 July, helping the Hungarian club advance 5-1 on aggregate (ESPN).

Manno Sanon, the goal that silenced Italy

Haiti's only World Cup. Sanon beat Dino Zoff and ended 1,142 minutes of Italian invincibility — still the standard the Grenadiers chase.
