Lenny Joseph fires Ferencváros into Europa League group stage

Lenny Joseph is the story of this cycle. The 25-year-old Ferencváros forward scored three goals across two legs to help the Hungarian champions eliminate TWE (Twente) in UEFA Europa League qualifying, winning 4-3 on aggregate. He started both legs: a brace in the 2-1 first-leg away win on July 23, then added another in the 2-2 second-leg draw on July 30 that sealed progression. Joseph has now opened his 2026/27 NB I account too, appearing in Ferencváros's opening league fixture. His 2025/26 campaign produced 7 goals in 25 league appearances; this European run adds serious momentum.

Elsewhere: Hannes Delcroix (FC Lugano) started and played 90 minutes in Lugano's 2-0 UEFA Conference League qualifying first-leg win over NSÍ Rungsted on August 6, keeping a clean sheet and registering four shots — a commanding display as the Swiss side eye a group-stage berth.

Duckens Nazon is currently without a club after leaving Esteghlal on July 20 (Transfermarkt), a notable development for Haiti's all-time top scorer entering a free-agent window.

Keeto Thermoncy has departed Young Boys II, with Transfermarkt listing FC Stade Nyonnais as his destination — a transfer that warrants monitoring.

Dominique Simon's loan at Tatran Prešov ended June 30; LiveScore shows him now registered at FK Pardubice (Czech Republic) for 2026/27.

"Ferencváros win 4-3 on aggregate" — Lenny Joseph's three-goal qualifying haul sends the Hungarian champions into the Europa League group stage.

Manno Sanon, the goal that silenced Italy

Haiti's only World Cup. Sanon beat Dino Zoff and ended 1,142 minutes of Italian invincibility — still the standard the Grenadiers chase.
