Isidor draws West Ham interest as Lenny Joseph fires Ferencváros into Europe

Wilson Isidor leads today's brief as West Ham United have submitted a bid for the Sunderland forward, with multiple reports indicating the London club have fresh hope of completing a deal after Sunderland's transfer stance softened. Isidor — who scored against Brentford and Aston Villa in Sunderland's Premier League campaign — has been one of the division's more effective attackers since the club's promotion and any departure would be a significant blow to the Stadium of Light.

Lenny Joseph is the other headline act. The Ferencváros forward started both legs of a UEFA Europa League qualifying tie against TWE, scoring twice in the first leg (a 2-1 away win on 23 July) and adding a goal in the 2-2 home draw on 30 July; Ferencváros advanced 4-3 on aggregate. His 26/27 Europa League qualifying tally now stands at three goals across five appearances.
