Lenny Joseph fires Ferencváros into Europa League group stage

Lenny Joseph is the clear story of this cycle. The 25-year-old Ferencváros forward has been Grenadier football's brightest club light in recent weeks, scoring twice in the first leg at FC Twente (7/23, W 2-1), then adding a goal in the home second leg that ended 2-2 — Ferencváros advancing 4-3 on aggregate. He then started and contributed two shots (one on target) in the subsequent Europa League qualifying round against Gornik (W 1-0, 8/5), keeping the Hungarian side's European campaign alive. Joseph, contracted in Budapest until June 2027, rated 7.1 across 25 league appearances last season, is operating at the peak of his club form.

Wilguens Paugain (Zulte Waregem) played 90 minutes in two consecutive Belgian Pro League matches — a 2-1 home win over Genk (8/9) and a 0-0 draw at Union Saint-Gilloise (8/15) — solid early-season form for the right-back.

Duckens Nazon, listed as Haiti's all-time leading scorer (79 caps, 44 goals), has been without a club since leaving Esteghlal on 20 July 2026, per Transfermarkt. The veteran striker's situation is the outstanding free-agent story among the squad alongside Johny Placide, who also departed his club (SC Bastia) on 1 July.

Dominique Simon, canonically listed at Tatran Prešov, appears on current sources now registered to FK Pardubice in the Czech Chance Liga, with Prešov listed as a concluded loan spell.

"Ferencváros advance 4-3 on aggregate — Joseph's three Europa League qualifying goals the driving force behind the Hungarian side's European progress."

Manno Sanon, the goal that silenced Italy

Haiti's only World Cup. Sanon beat Dino Zoff and ended 1,142 minutes of Italian invincibility — still the standard the Grenadiers chase.
