Lenny Joseph fires Ferencváros into Europa League as Isidor eyes exit
Lenny Joseph is the lead story this cycle. The 25-year-old Ferencváros forward has been central to the Hungarian club's Europa League qualifying campaign, scoring twice in the first leg against TWE (2-1 win, 23 July), then adding another in the second leg (2-2 draw, 30 July) as Ferencváros advanced 4-3 on aggregate. He also started the next qualifying round on 5 August (1-0 win vs GOR, 2 shots, 1 on target). Across those three European fixtures Joseph started all three games, with three goals — a strong early-season return for Haiti's most in-form attacker. His market value sits at €1.9m and his contract runs to June 2027, with L'Équipe having previously flagged Ligue 1 interest in the forward.
Elsewhere, Wilguens Paugain started both of Zulte Waregem's opening Belgian Pro League fixtures: a 2-1 home win over Genk (9 Aug) and a 0-0 away draw at Union Saint-Gilloise (15 Aug), logging the full ninety in each. Hannes Delcroix is active for FC Lugano in the Swiss Super League, with a fixture listed against Maccabi Tel Aviv on 20 August. Wilson Isidor at Sunderland continues to attract transfer speculation, with West Ham interest reported, though no deal is confirmed.
