Isidor nets winner vs Fulham as Adé starts in LDU's 3-1 LigaPro win

Wilson Isidor is the story of the day. The Sunderland forward came off the bench to score the decisive goal in a 1-0 Premier League win over Fulham at the Stadium of Light, handing the newly promoted side their first top-flight victory of the season. Multiple sources confirm the strike and the result. Isidor, who signed a contract extension keeping him at Sunderland until 2030, is embedding himself as a key figure in Régis Le Bris's side.

In Ecuador, Ricardo Adé started and completed 90 minutes as LDU Quito won 3-1 at Tucumán on 4 September in LigaPro Serie A — a result that keeps the reigning champions among the pacesetters. The captain was an unused substitute in LDU's Copa Libertadores penalty shootout victory over Mirandes on 20 August but started the following league outing on 23 August (2-0 vs Emetele).

In MLS, Danley Jean-Jacques has been in strong form for Philadelphia Union, providing an assist in the 3-1 win at Red Bulls on 29/30 August. Carl-Fred Sainthe scored and assisted in El Paso Locomotive's 4-1 demolition of Loudoun United on 30 August in USL Championship play.

Elsewhere, Martin Expérience has left AS Nancy on a free transfer and joined Belgian Pro League side FCV Dender, signing on 12 August 2026. Jean-Kévin Duverne similarly departed La Gantoise and transferred to Omonia Nicosia on 11 August 2026.

"Sunderland recently announced that Isidor has signed a new contract, keeping him at the club until 2030, and the news was met with reactions across Wearside." — Yahoo Sports

Manno Sanon, the goal that silenced Italy

Haiti's only World Cup. Sanon beat Dino Zoff and ended 1,142 minutes of Italian invincibility — still the standard the Grenadiers chase.
