Isidor's contract goal headlines as Etienne Jr. keeps TFC in playoff hunt

Wilson Isidor leads today's brief after the Haitian forward scored the decisive goal in Sunderland's 1-0 Premier League win over Fulham at the Stadium of Light — a result that arrived shortly after the club announced his contract extension through June 2030. Manager Régis Le Bris had demanded an "all-in" attitude from any player signing on long-term; Isidor answered on the pitch. Through two Premier League appearances this season, Isidor carries a Flashscore rating of 6.6 with one goal.

Across the Atlantic, Derrick Etienne Jr. delivered a late golazo to rescue a point for Toronto FC, extending the club's unbeaten run to six straight games and positioning them on the playoff doorstep in the Eastern Conference. TFC host Supporters' Shield leaders Nashville SC next at BMO Field.

In Belgium, Hannes Delcroix is in excellent early-season form at FC Lugano — a Sofascore rating of 8.3 across two Swiss Super League appearances, including an 8.2 in a 1-0 win over Servette FC, with one assist already registered. Lugano host Basel in their next fixture.

Carlens Arcus at Angers SCO has contributed one goal contribution in three Ligue 1 appearances this season (2026/27), building on last campaign's assist against Nice.

Jean-Kévin Duverne, now permanently at Omonia Nicosia, has logged 291 minutes across four appearances in 2026/27, split between the Cyprus League and Europa League qualification.

Manno Sanon, the goal that silenced Italy

Haiti's only World Cup. Sanon beat Dino Zoff and ended 1,142 minutes of Italian invincibility — still the standard the Grenadiers chase.
