Grenadiers Club Watch
Casimir loaned to Dynamo Moscow; Louicius joins Sochaux; Placide moves to Borgo
Three Grenadiers have changed clubs since the summer window closed, making today's brief a transfer-led roundup.
Josué Casimir is the lead. The AJ Auxerre forward (24, 10 caps) has left Ligue 1 on a season-long loan to Dynamo Moscow in the Russian Premier League, with an option for the move to become permanent. He joined Auxerre on a free transfer from Le Havre last summer and featured for Haiti at the World Cup before the exit. Auxerre have been active in trimming their squad, having also allowed Francisco Sierralta to move to Gliwice (Poland).
Don Deedson Louicius has completed a free transfer from FC Dallas to FC Sochaux-Montbéliard (Ligue 2), confirmed by MLS Soccer. The 25-year-old scored once in nine MLS appearances after arriving from Odense last summer. He will link up at Sochaux with goalkeeper Alexandre Pierre, whose contract through June 2028 was already registered at the club.
Johny Placide (38) has departed SC Bastia — our canonical club — and joined FC Borgo in France's National 1 (fourth tier) as of 1 July 2026, per Transfermarkt.
Elsewhere: Leverton Pierre has moved from FC Vizela to Académica Coimbra (Liga Portugal 2, joined 8 September 2026). Woodensky Pierre transferred to Forge FC (Canadian Premier League) in August 2026, departing Violette AC.
