Casimir on loan to Dynamo Moscow; Isidor, Duverne & Louicius headline busy day
Josué Casimir leads today's brief with the most significant verified transfer of the week: the AJ Auxerre forward has joined Dynamo Moscow on a season-long loan, with an option to make the deal permanent. The 24-year-old spent last season at Auxerre (26 appearances, 1 goal) and represented Haiti at the 2026 World Cup before departing for the Russian Premier League (Le Nouvelliste, Yahoo Sports, confirmed Sept. 10).
Jean-Kévin Duverne — listed canonically at La Gantoise — has since moved on permanently, signing a two-year deal (plus option) with Omonia Nicosia after Nantes released him, per L'Équipe. His loan spell at Gent is now closed.
Don Deedson Louicius has been permanently transferred from FC Dallas to FC Sochaux-Montbéliard (Ligue 2), per MLS Soccer and Yahoo Sports. He scored once in nine Dallas appearances after the World Cup.
Wilson Isidor remains the squad's Premier League anchor at Sunderland, having signed a contract extension to 2030 (BBC Sport). West Ham interest was reported but Sunderland held firm.
Derrick Etienne Jr. played the full 90 for Toronto FC in a 3-0 MLS loss at Orlando on Sept. 13, earning a yellow card.
Ricardo Adé started for LDU Quito in a 3-? CONMEBOL Libertadores win over Palestino on Sept. 16 (ESPN).
