Louicius Deedson exits FC Dallas for Ligue 2 Sochaux in confirmed transfer
The headline today belongs to Don Deedson Louicius: FC Dallas have transferred the 25-year-old Haitian forward to Ligue 2 side FC Sochaux-Montbéliard, with the move confirmed by the club and reported by both MLSsoccer.com and Yahoo Sports. Louicius scored once in nine MLS appearances for Dallas after joining from Odense Boldklub last summer, and he returns to French football having represented Haiti at this summer's FIFA World Cup. Sochaux, who also retain goalkeeper Alexandre Pierre on a contract running to June 2028, now host a notable Grenadiers contingent.
Elsewhere, Josué Casimir is no longer with AJ Auxerre in practice — the forward has departed the Ligue 1 club on a season-long loan to Dynamo Moscow, with an option to make the move permanent. The Haiti international made 10 appearances in all competitions for Auxerre. In the Championship, Wilson Isidor started Sunderland's UEFA Europa League win (1-0) on 16 September and remains contracted to the Black Cats until 2030 after his recent extension. Frantzdy Pierrot's Çaykur Rizespor hosted Göztepe today (20 Sept), and Derrick Etienne Jr. started Toronto FC's 3-0 defeat at Orlando on 12 September, picking up a yellow card.
