Louicius departs FC Dallas for Sochaux; Lenny Joseph draws Rangers interest

Don Deedson Louicius is the headline mover of the day: FC Dallas have transferred the 25-year-old Haitian forward to French Ligue 2 side FC Sochaux-Montbéliard, ending a stint in which he scored once in nine MLS appearances after joining from Danish club Odense Boldklub. Louicius represented Haiti at the 2026 FIFA World Cup this summer, and the move reunites him with French football on a more prominent stage — Sochaux are competing in Ligue 2 with eyes on promotion.

Lenny Joseph at Ferencváros is the other major talking point. The 25-year-old forward — who racked up 16 goals and 10 assists in 48 appearances last season — has already scored four goals in 10 appearances this campaign. Scottish Premiership side Rangers have been linked, with Foot Mercato and Get French Football News both reporting Ibrox interest; one analyst noted Joseph could "frustrate Rangers fans massively" if a deal fails to materialise.

Elsewhere: Johny Placide has quietly moved to FC Borgo (National 1, Group A) after his stint at SC Bastia, per Transfermarkt. Leverton Pierre has departed FC Vizela for Académica Coimbra in Liga Portugal 2 (joined 14 September). Keeto Thermoncy is no longer at Young Boys II — he transferred to Stade Nyonnais in the Swiss Challenge League in July. Woodensky Pierre has left Violette AC for Forge FC in Canada's CPL.
