Bellegarde scores for Haiti; Casimir on loan at Dynamo Moscow; squad updates

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde leads today's brief after a strong international window with Haiti in the CONCACAF Nations League, capped by a goal against Costa Rica on 27 September (W 2-0) and a yellow card in a comeback 3-2 win over Trinidad & Tobago on 24 September. Back at Wolverhampton — competing in the EFL Championship — he came off the bench to register an assist in a 1-0 win over West Brom on 20 September. Wolves are building momentum in the second tier and Bellegarde looks a key rotational piece under their current setup.

The most significant permanent squad-status story remains Josué Casimir: AJ Auxerre announced on 10 September that the forward has joined Dynamo Moscow on a season-long loan with an option to buy — confirmed by both Footmercato and Le Nouvelliste. After 26 appearances and one goal for Auxerre, Casimir enters Russian football's top flight.

Elsewhere, Johny Placide has quietly landed at FC Borgo (National 1, France's fourth tier) after leaving SC Bastia, per Transfermarkt. Several squad members have also quietly moved on from their listed clubs: Martin Expérience is now at FCV Dender (Belgian Challenger Pro League), Leverton Pierre has moved to Académica Coimbra, Woodensky Pierre signed with Forge FC (Canada) in August, and Jean-Kévin Duverne departed La Gantoise for Omonia Nicosia. Don Deedson Louicius has transferred from FC Dallas to FC Sochaux-Montbéliard in Ligue 2.

"There is still a lot more to achieve here." — Wilson Isidor, on signing a new Sunderland deal until 2030 (BBC Sport)

Manno Sanon, the goal that silenced Italy

Haiti's only World Cup. Sanon beat Dino Zoff and ended 1,142 minutes of Italian invincibility — still the standard the Grenadiers chase.
