Isidor & Providence fire as Haiti finish CNL group 2W-1L; squad transfers pile up

NATIONAL TEAM — LEADS THIS BRIEF

Haiti's CONCACAF Nations League A group stage is complete. Les Grenadiers won their two home fixtures and fell on the road: a commanding 4-1 victory over the Dominican Republic in Santo Domingo on 1 October (Louicius 9', Isidor 51', 67', Fortuné 76') and a 2-0 defeat away to Costa Rica on 4 October close out Group A. The DR result was the headline: Wilson Isidor bagged a brace and Ruben Providence started both matches, contributing two goals and an assist across the pair of fixtures per ESPN game-log data. Danley Jean-Jacques, Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, Hannes Delcroix, Martin Expérience, Ricardo Adé and Lenny Joseph all featured across the two windows per Footmercato's published XI.

Club transfers to note: Johny Placide has joined FC Borgo (National 1 Group A, France's fourth tier), per Transfermarkt. Keeto Thermoncy left Young Boys II for Stade Nyonnais (Swiss Challenge League) in July. Dominique Simon completed a move to Hatta Club in the UAE Pro League on 29 September. Leverton Pierre departed FC Vizela for Académica on 14 September. Josué Casimir is on a season-long loan at Dynamo Moscow from AJ Auxerre. Don Deedson Louicius has transferred from FC Dallas to FC Sochaux-Montbéliard.
