Bellegarde back firing for Wolves in Championship run of form

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde is the standout club story of this cycle. The Wolverhampton midfielder has returned to consistent action in the EFL Championship after missing nearly three months with a hamstring injury (out 26 June–15 September per Flashscore). He scored in Wolves' 3-1 home loss to Bolton on 13 October — his first goal since his return — and followed that with two shots in a 2-1 win at Burnley on 16 October, underlining growing sharpness even as Wolves' form remains inconsistent (two wins, two losses in their last four Championship outings).

On the national-team front, the broader picture is settled: Haiti's last CONCACAF Nations League Group A fixtures were played on 1 and 4 October. The Grenadiers beat the Dominican Republic 4-1 on 1 October (goals from Louicius 9', Isidor 51' & 67', Fortuné 76') before losing 2-0 to Costa Rica on 4 October. Haiti's Nations League Group A record now reads three wins and one loss across the completed matchdays reported this cycle.

Elsewhere in the club sweep: Hannes Delcroix started for FC Lugano in their Europa Conference League fixture against Crvena Zvezda on 15 October, with his name confirmed in the last starting XI (Yahoo Sports preview). Colorado Springs Switchbacks retained Duke Lacroix in their lineup ahead of a USL Championship fixture against Lexington (Goal.com). Derrick Etienne Jr. came off the bench as Toronto FC beat New York Red Bulls 2-0 on 17 October (ESPN).

"Bellegarde scored on his return to Wolves' starting XI, showing his hamstring problems are behind him — exactly what Haiti's midfield needed to see."

Manno Sanon, the goal that silenced Italy

Haiti's only World Cup. Sanon beat Dino Zoff and ended 1,142 minutes of Italian invincibility — still the standard the Grenadiers chase.
