Delcroix hat-trick fires Swiss leaders Lugano; Isidor, Joseph, Louicius in focus

Hannes Delcroix leads Brief 135 after the most dramatic individual performance in the current cycle: the FC Lugano defender scored a hat-trick — three goals between the 35th and full time — to help the Swiss Super League leaders extend their commanding position at the top of the table. Lugano are averaging three goals per game and return from the international break on 10 October, when they host mid-table FC Luzern at the AIL Arena. Delcroix had already started both of Lugano's UEFA Conference League qualifying wins this summer (2-0 vs NSI Runavik, 2-1 vs MTA).

Elsewhere, Wilson Isidor's Sunderland are now a confirmed Premier League club, with the Haitian striker under contract until 2030 following his August extension. Flashscore and ESPN both log recent Premier League activity for Sunderland, with Isidor having scored against Aston Villa on 21 September.

Lenny Joseph continues to be the Grenadiers' most productive forward at club level: four goals in ten appearances for Ferencváros this season, with Rangers (Foot Mercato, Get French Football News) among the clubs reportedly monitoring him.

Don Deedson Louicius has completed his move from FC Dallas to Ligue 2 side FC Sochaux-Montbéliard, confirmed by MLSsoccer.com. The 25-year-old — squad-listed here at FC Dallas — joins Alexandre Pierre at Sochaux.

"Delcroix stole the spotlight by scoring three times between the 35th and full time" — Livescore.com on Lugano's Swiss Super League leaders.

Manno Sanon, the goal that silenced Italy

Haiti's only World Cup. Sanon beat Dino Zoff and ended 1,142 minutes of Italian invincibility — still the standard the Grenadiers chase.
